For $149.50, you can elect to add HearingAssist's 1-year (12-month period) Peace of Mind Plan at the time of purchase only. You may elect to extend The Peace of Mind Plan before the original warranty period expires for another 1-year (12-month period). The Peace of Mind Plan can be added to any of HearingAssist's hearing aid models, whether you purchased your HearingAssist's hearing aids directly from HearingAssist or another retailer (i.e., Walmart, Amazon, etc.). The 1-year Peace of Mind Plan offers (Value & Savings of up to $750.00+) is more than an extension of the manufacturers' warranty the plan provides:
One-time replacement per hearing aid under the Lost or Damage Policy – ($95 deductible per aid) up to $500.00 Savings if both hearing aids were lost or damaged. ($15.00 shipping & handling charges due apply)
Extra Charging Base ($25 Charge) Savings of $75.00 ($15.00 shipping & handling charges due apply)
Free replacement of thin tubes and/or ear domes (during a 12-month period, receive up to 12 ear domes per hearing aid and/or 12 ear sound tubes per hearing aid depending upon the hearing aid model) Savings of ($135.00) (shipping & handling charges due apply)
Free one-time Receiver Replacement Service (during a 12-month period) per hearing aid (for the receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aid models). Savings of $100.00. ($15.00 shipping & handling charges due apply)

Peace of Mind Plan - Loss and Damage Policy
HearingAssist's Loss and Damage Policy under the Peace of Mind Plan will replace each hearing device and charger no more than one time for loss or damage not related to normal use. HearingAssist reserves the right to inspect hearing aid(s) and chargers to determine if the Loss and Damage Policy is applicable.
HearingAssist will replace a lost or damaged hearing aid for $95 each and No Charge for a lost or damaged charger unit. Please note that claims under the Loss and Damage Policy under the Peace of Mind Plan on the hearing aids(s) or charger are a one-time occurrence per unit. When the hearing aid or the charger is replaced under the Loss and Damage Policy, the Loss and Damage Policy expires for that unit. For example, if the right hearing device is lost and replaced under the Loss and Damage Policy, the Loss and Damage Policy expires for the right aid but remains in effect for the left hearing aid and charger. For any loss and damage claim, the repair warranty remains in effect on the replacement unit until the date of the original warranty period expires.
Note: If hearing aid(s) were purchased directly from HearingAssist and the hearing(s) and or charger are lost or damaged beyond normal use during the 60-day trial period the hearing aid(s) and or charger cannot be returned or replaced. If the hearing aid(s) were purchased from one of HearingAssist authorized retailers the customer will need to refer to the retailer’s return and loss and damage policies.
